Manila's Brand, Cebu's Corner
From a BGC drinking hole to a Visayan flagship — same back-bar, different breeze.
The Distillery began as a quiet drinking hole in Bonifacio Global City, Manila, catering to office workers who wanted serious whisky and imported beer without the club noise. It grew into one of the country's most recognizable bar brands, with sister branches in Jupiter Makati, Eastwood, and Uptown BGC before crossing over to the Visayas.
The Cebu outpost lives inside Crossroads, the open-air dining and nightlife complex along Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue in Banilad — a strip that anchors a large share of the city's after-dark crowd. Positioned as Crossroads' anchor whisky and cocktail house, The Distillery Cebu leans on the formula that built the Manila brand: deep back-bar of imported whiskies, international beers, and premium spirits.
It is not a hidden, ticketed bar; it is a flagship neighborhood drinking room with a serious bottle wall. The crowd skews broad — young professionals, expats, returning OFWs, and groups celebrating birthdays — rather than the niche speakeasy set.
